Cherry Hood Workshop

In August I had the most amazing workshop held by Cherry Hood at her art studio at Towrang in New South Wales. The intense weekend provided insight into Cherry’s technique and the whole group has been spoiled not only with great art but also with amazing food in beautiful settings.

Aboriginal women – contemporary portrait

A contemporary tribute to the courageous and resilient Aboriginal women I painted inspired by the theme of NAIDOC Week 2018, “Because of Her, We Can!”

Phillip Beam Portrait

I was asked to paint a very special portrait of Phillip Beams who had sadly passed away. Loving friends of Phillip’s sons wanted to give them a gift to remember their father. It was a privilege and an emotional task for me. Thank you Katarina Littlejohn for organising this amazing gift and I hope the portrait brings Dayne Beams and Claye Beams lovely memories of their Dad.

Nick Cave Portrait

I’m doing a little project of musicians that mean a lot to me. Sadness. Anger. Depth. Death. Love. Desire. Erotism. Thanks Nick Cave for the most emotional music!

Reflekt Eyewear

I had the pleasure of creating branding for a new eyewear company in Launceston, Reflekt Eyewear. I could not imagine a more creative project, where I was asked to paint two watercolour portraits for the brand's identity. The logo and print collateral reflect the glamorous and sophisticated feel of the portraits.
